1. Background
The Congress on Long Term Care in Chinese Communities is first initiated by the Hong Kong Association of Gerontology, and the organizations of elderly services and researches of Taiwan and Shanghai. The Congress is organized on an annual basis, aiming at increasing exchanges of information, facilitating long term care for Chinese communities around the world, and actively tackling the issue of global ageing.
2. Aims
The primary aim of the Congress is to promote the experience sharing on elderly services by representatives from different regions. It also provides opportunities for participants to discuss different modes of long term care services that are suitable for Chinese people living in different parts of the world.
