A delegation from Xinhui, consisting of Deputy Director of District Xie Huiwen and Head of Supervision Office Fu Li of People’s Government of Xinhui District, Jiangmen City, Director Liang Fengqiong, Deputy Party Secretary Liang Honghan and Deputy Director Chen Guixia of Education Department, Former Vice Principal of First Middle School of Xinhui and Former Head of Kao Yip Middle School of Macao Yang Jiaxiang, Principal Wu Liping of Xinhui Overseas Chinese Middle School, Principal Lin Qiyao of Xinhui Health School, paid a visit to KWNC on 3 November 2014. The delegation was warmly welcomed by President Van Iat Kio, Vice-President Xing Zhihong and department heads of KWNC. The two parties initiated exchanges on the two places’ education, school-running experience, campus culture and related topics.

At the exchange meeting, President Van Iat Kio extended her welcome to all visiting guests. Director Liang Fengqiong gave a brief introduction of Xinhui District as well as the district’s educational accomplishments and development directions. Director Liang expressed that, taking this opportunity of exchange visit, the delegation would like to gain experience from KWNC in terms of the establishment of nursing and health care courses, initiation of elderly care, student activities and social services, etc. Vice-President Xing Zhihong also gave an overview of KWNC and indicated that the College has been in close collaboration with a number of schools and hospitals of Guangdong Province. It is hoped that KWNC would strengthen connection and launch collaborative projects with Xinhui District in the future.

After the meeting, the delegation visited the College Library, Nursing Laboratories, Nursing & Health Education Research Centre and some other facilities.
