KWNC Participates in the Exhibition of the International Education Expo 2012 Bangkok

The International Education Expo 2012 Bangkok was held earlier in Bangkok, Thailand from 27 to 28 October 2012 at the Royal Paragon Hall located on the 5th floor of the Siam Paragon Shopping Centre. About 200 higher education institutions from 20 countries around the world participated in the exhibition.

The higher education institutions of Macao also took part in the Exposition under the invitation of the Ministry of Education of the People¡¦s Republic of China and the coordination of the Tertiary Education Services Office of Macao. Among all higher education institutions of the Chinese Mainland, 8 of them took part in the exhibition, while only from Macao, there were already 7 participating institutions, showing the great attention and support given by the Macao SAR Government on higher education. The participating institutions from Macao included the University of Macau, Macao Polytechnic Institute, Institute for Tourism Studies, Kiang Wu Nursing College of Macau, City University of Macau, the Macau University of Science and Technology and University of Saint Joseph. Ms. Xing Zhihong, Assistant to President and Ms. Lo Ka Man, P.R. Secretary of our College were delegated to take part in this event. The two-day Exposition attracted the attendance of numerous students and parents and received many of their enquiries. The exhibition booths of Macao¡¦s institutions also attracted a satisfactory amount of visitors. It is believed that the Exposition enables more Thais to get acquainted with the higher education institutions of Macao and the current situation of Macao¡¦s higher education.
