Ngee Ann’s Visit in KWNC

A 32-member delegation of Ngee Ann Polytechnic from Singapore visited Kiang Wu College of Macau the afternoon March 30. Members of the delegation first attended a brief meeting to introduce both institutions. Then guided by the College students, they visited around the campus and premises, observing on the scene the OSCA and the experimental course of Immunology, which could let Ngee Ann teachers and students get to know the College deeply. After visit it came a free exchange session when all the participants had a hot discussion over their study experiences, clinical practice arrangement, students’ exchange activities and laboratory settings, etc. in a pleasant atmosphere. The Ngee Ann teachers praised the KWNC students for their conscientious attitude toward study, of great initiative and cordiality that fully shows the excellent quality of Macau nursing students.

Ngee Ann Polytechnic is one of the public polytechnic institutes of largest scale and longest history in Singapore, with over thirty vocations for training. The nursing profession was founded in 2005 being a 3-year programme in nursing science. With strict curriculum construction and perfect laboratory equipment, the programme provides sound situational settings for students’ simulation practice. Moreover, students there are studying by use of PDA to integrate tightly the information technology with the curriculum.
