KWNC paid visit to Huizhou’s nursing circle

Headed by President Van Iat Kio on Jan. 24th in the morning, an eight-member delegation of KWNC paid a visit to Huizhou nursing professionals at Huizhou Health School of Guangdong where they were warmly welcomed by the Senior Lecturer of HHSG and Director-general of Huizhou Nurses Association Ms. Chen Li Lan, the Professional Officer of Huizhou Health Bureau Medical administration Dept. Ms. Qiu Li, the Chief of Society Department of Huizhou Science and Technology Association Ms. Zhou Hui Ling, the Director of Nursing Department of the 1st People’s Hospital of Huizhou Ms. Yu Chun Yan, etc.

In a briefing to Huizhou Health School and Huizhou Nurses Association, Senior Lecturer Chen Li Lan told the visitors that the HHSG is a national key secondary professional school and a national technical engineering school for training of shortage talents. Being high-reputed and of some influence in the Eastern Guangdong and Pearl River Delta area and even the whole province, the school abides by a motto of “Generous, moral, perfection” and has been operating under the educational philosophy of “Administering the school in accordance with the law; prospering the school with moral and carrying out people–oriented policies. ” Then KWNC President Van Iat Kio and other members respectively briefed the academic situation, programme feature and student management system of the College. During the meeting, both parties had a good discussion on the issue of how to enhance the quality of humanistic care among clinical nurses. They agreed that both the education and nursing developments could never be realized without programme innovation putting into practice with the times. Then Officer Qiu Li invited the College teachers to lecture in Huizhou for further intensive exchange of study on humanistic care and gerontological Nursing. Director Yu Chun Yan also briefed a general profile of the 1st People’s Hospital of Huizhou and Ms. Zhou Hui Ling invited the guests to visit the Technology Stadium under her Association.

Other members of delegation to visit HHSG were Executive Officer Lei Sut Peng, Deputy Executive Officer Lau Gar Bo, Asst. Executive Officer Cheong Hoi Ieng, Associate Prof. Zhu Ming Xia, Asst. Prof. Zeng Wen, Lecturer Kong Mei Iong and Technician Fong Iat Meng.
